COATING THICKNESS GAUGE

Application

This compact, practical hand-held gauge has been designed for nondestructive, fast and precise coating thickness measurement.
Depending on the gauge type bought ( see delivery schedule) measurements can be taken on:
* all non-magnetic coatings ( e.g. paints, enamels, chrome, zinc etc.) on steel
* all insulating coatings ( anodising, paint coatings, ceramics) on all non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, austenitic stainless steel.
The gauge has especially been designed for use in the field of industrial corrosion prevention.
Readings as well as statistical values can be documented with the portable MiniPrint data printer.

Description

The single pole probe is connected to the gauge by a 1 meter cable. The newly developed probe tip is made from very hard and wear resistant material which guarantees virtually unlimited life provided it is handled correctly.
The gauge is supplied with:
* a magnetic-inductive probe for measurements on steel ( F) or an eddy current probe for measurements on non-ferrous metals ( N) or an universal probe for measurements on all metal substrates ( FN)
* backlight in the display.
